日豪小中学生オンライン２日間連続授業

前回の日本・リトアニア交流イベントに引き続き、8月19日(木)から２日にわたって行われる、小・中学生のための英語とアートを繋げた国際的な取り組みをご紹介いたします。

今回は第１部としてオーストラリアの先生のオンラインでの特別授業とワークショップを開催いたします。

第１日目では10か国語を話す先生がオーストラリアの野生動物をテーマにお話しします。日豪の児童生徒を対象にインタラクティブ（双方向）に進めます。

第２日目では参加者が動物をテーマにプレゼンを行います。テーマとしては、’my favourite animal（pet)’や日本人参加者向けには身の回りの動物に関するテーマやトピックを自由に選んでいただきます。

この時に行われるプレゼンの仕方やコミュニケーション術を*岡嶋拓也氏（国際経済アナリスト）が担当します。

*プレゼンでオーストラリア人参加者は日本語を混じえてもOKにします。日本人参加者も基本的に英語を使っていただきますが、日本語が混じってもかまいません。お互いの学びに通じるからです。

また、そうすることで参加の「ハードル」を低くします。

日程：8月19日(木)からの2日間。
対象：小学4年生～中学3年生（英検３級程度あることが望ましい）
受付締め切り：8月16日(月）

＊なお、このイベントは今秋に行われる「国際絵画コミュニケーション」のプレレッスンとして行われます。

Following on from the previous Japan-Lithuania exchange event, we would like to introduce an international initiative that connects English and art for elementary and junior high school students, which will be held from August 19th (Thursday) to 2nd.

This time, as the first part, we will hold an online special class and workshop for Australian teachers.

On the first day, a 10-language teacher will talk about Australian wildlife. We will proceed interactively for Japanese and Australian schoolchildren.

On the second day, participants will give a presentation on the theme of animals. As for the theme, you can freely choose the theme or topic related to ‘my favorite animal (pet)’ or the animals around you for Japanese participants.

* Mr. Takuya Okajima (international economic analyst) will be in charge of the presentation method and communication technique that will be held at this time.

* Australian participants can mix Japanese in the presentation. Japanese participants are basically required to use English, but Japanese may be mixed. This is because they lead to mutual learning.

It also lowers the “hurdle” for participation.

Date: 2 days from Thursday, August 19th
Target: 4th grade to 3rd grade of junior high school (preferably Eiken 3rd grade)
