《English follows Japanese》
日本や欧州諸国の小中学生のデジタル絵画展が11月初旬に開催されます。26日(日）はその2回目の説明会です。今回はロンドン在住のアーティストが出席されます。ヨーロッパの小中学生をの絵画に向き合っているダニエルさんが日本の小中学生に期待するところもお話ししていただけると思います。
空想動物園」国際絵画プロジェクトの第2回目の説明会（内容は1回目とほぼ同じ内容ですが、前回参加者の出席もOKです）を下記の日程で行います。参加ご希望の方はこのサイトの「お申込み」ページから「空想動物園」をクリックして、必須事項をご記入の上、お送りください。自由記入欄に「説明会参加」とお書きください。あるいは弊社emailアドレスにお送りいただいてもOKです。

参加受付はいよいよ25日(土）が締め切りです。
内容:11月初旬に開催予定の絵画を通じた小中学生の国際トークイベントです。英語があまり話せなくてもサポータの大学生などがお手伝いしてくれるので心配ありません。上記26日はその説明会です。

国際コンテストの位置づけをしています。事前のお申し出が必要ですが、小中学生ならどなたでも参加できます。

- Q) What do I draw?
A) Students from different countries create artworks on the same theme and share them on the internet to be viewed in English.
We hope that by appreciating each other’s work, they will be able to understand their own particularities and characteristics and develop their sensitivity and sense of beauty.
- Q) How can I participate in this program?
A) Please use whatever materials they are comfortable with.Watercolours, crayons, craypas, coloured pencils, sumi ink, pasted pictures, photo collages – anything goes.
You will be asked to take a photo of your finished work and paste it into Padlet, a software program that allows you to download an icon of an origami crane.
There is another way to draw digitally, using an iPad or tablet.
Please search for “drawing apps”.
There are many free apps such as Ibis Paint, Mediban Paint, Clip Studio Paint, Pixib Sketch, etc.
You can also use these apps to draw digitally.
The good thing about drawing apps is that you can save your work in progress and go back to it.
If you are drawing digitally, please upload your work to Padlet as well.

He specializes in Nihonga (a Japanese type of painting generally using crushed mineral pigments mixed with a natural liquid adhesive and applied with sumi ink outlines on top of Japanese paper.
