Hello, I participated in tennis tours in Australia as a 22-year-old interpreter and coach four years ago, and I am currently working for a foreign consulting company. When I was a student, I studied abroad in the USA from high school till university on my own initiative. What triggered my decision to study abroad in high school was a short-term study abroad programme in the USA when I was in junior high school, and I remember how cool it was to be in a class where we had discussions with people of different nationalities. The ability to speak up, which I developed in an environment where, unlike in Japan, everyone has an opinion and speaks up independently, is very useful at my current workplace. In global meetings in particular, Japanese people tend not to speak up, but in my case, thanks to my ingrained awareness of speaking up in any situation, I stood out, for better or worse, and was appreciated on many occasions. In addition, thanks to playing tennis since junior high school, I have made a great many friends through sport, and through practice and matches I have met many people who will become lifelong friends. I also decided to study abroad at high school because of a short-term study abroad experience in the USA when I was in junior high school, so I hope that everyone will take this opportunity to experience life abroad.
