今年もビーバーチャレンジ（コンピュータ的思考力）英語版コンテストの受け付けが始まりました。
ビーバーチャレンジは日本語で設けられますが、サファイアでは英語版のみを受け付けています。
お申込みされた方は、11月４日～17日（アメリカ東部時間）に受検していただきます。
プログラミングのテストではありません。

現在の高校3年生が大学進学する2025年度、大学入学共通テストに「情報」という教科が導入されます。情報科学が社会の中でこれまで以上に進化していくことを物語っています。
当センター「サファイア」では、この情報の学習を単なる入試教科としてだけではなく、英語を通して海外の小中高生と情報の学びを共有することに取り組んでいます。
今年もアメリカ委員会主催の「ビーバーチャレンジ（正式名称：BEBRAS CHALLENGE)への参加をお待ちしています。インターネット環境とデバイス（パソコン・スマホなど）があれば、個人でご自宅からの参加も可能です。

In the year 2025, when the current the 3rd graders at high school will enter university, the subject of “Information” will be introduced in the Common Entrance Test for Universities. This is a sign that information science will evolve more than ever in society.
At our Cenre, Sapphire, we are working on sharing the study of information not only as a subject for entrance exams, but also with elementary, middle and high school students overseas through English.
We look forward to your participation in the Beaver Challenge (official name: BEBRAS CHALLENGE) organized by the American Committee again this year. Individuals with an internet connection and a device (computer, smartphone, etc.) can participate from home.
