【主なプログラム内容】
1⃣Griffith English Language Institute（以降GELI)／グリフィス大学付属語学学校で実質10日間（20時間／週）で下記の4技能を含む練習を導入しながら、スマートなプレゼンテーションを実行できるようにします。
- リーディング: プレゼンテーションのテーマに関連する資料や参考文献を読み、必要な情報を正確に理解する。
- ライティング: プレゼンテーションの原稿やスライドの内容を、効果的なストーリーテリングを意識して作成する。
- リスニング: 他者のプレゼンテーションや議論の中で、重要な情報や意見を聞き取り、理解する力を養う。
- スピーキング: プレゼンテーションを通じて、自分の意見やアイデアを明確に伝え、聴衆との対話や質疑応答を円滑に行う力を身につける。
2⃣滞在期間中、安心のホームステイ先で学びとスポーツに取り組むことができます。
3⃣日帰りバスツアーを予定しています。

Main programme content:
1⃣ Griffith English Language Institute (GELI) / At the language school attached to Griffith University, you will be able to give a smart presentation in just 10 days (20 hours per week) while practising the following four skills.
- Reading: Read materials and reference books related to the theme of the presentation and accurately understand the necessary information.
- Writing: Create a presentation script and slide content with an awareness of effective storytelling.
- Listening: Develop the ability to listen to and understand important information and opinions in other people's presentations and discussions.
- Speaking: Through presentations, develop the ability to clearly convey your own opinions and ideas, and to smoothly engage in dialogue and Q&A with the audience.
2⃣ You can study and play sports at a homestay where you will feel at ease during your stay.
3⃣ We are planning a one-day bus tour.
Please note that the sports activities are optional. If you would like to play tennis or golf, there will be an additional participation fee. Please consult with us before applying.

Q１:グリフィス大学ってどんなところ？
A:グリフィス大学は1971年に創立され、クイーンズランド州のブリスベンとゴールドコーストに5つのキャンパスを置く公立大学です。また、約50年間で様々な研究分野を展開し、多くの卒業生を輩出しています。グリフィス大学はビジネス、法、文学、教育、工学、建築などの学部に加え、医療、航空学、デザイン、芸術など数多くの学部学科が存在します。グリフィス大学は「世界大学上位２%にランクイン」する実績を持ち、５万人を超える学生数が在籍しているなど、海外からも高く評価されています。
知名度も高いことから、50カ国以上の国から沢山の留学生が集まっており、これはグリフィス大学の全学生の10%に当たります。
Q２:GELIについて教えてください。
A:留学をするにあたって語学学校を決めるのはとても重要ですよね。オーストラリアでも今年の夏のプログラム先パースをはじめシドニー、メルボルンなど様々な留学地域がありますが、今回はグリフィス大学に付属している語学学校（GELI）は、ブリスベンに位置するネイサンキャンパス、マウントグラヴァットキャンパスと、さらにゴードコーストキャンパスの3箇所で開講されています。
今回のプログラムで、ブリスベンのどちらのキャンパスを使用するかは1月になって決まります。
ネイサンキャンパス
ブリスベンの中心部から車で15分ほどのところに位置し、自然に囲まれながら、コアラなどの様々な動物に出会うことができます。
マウントグラヴァットキャンパス
ブリスベン市内を一望できるパノラマビューを兼ね揃えています。メインキャンパスからは車やシャトルバスで5分ほどの距離に位置しています。
Q３:どんな授業が行われていますか？
A:授業は月曜日から金曜日まで朝8時15分から10時15分の2時間、そして30分の休憩を挟んで、10時45分から12時45分までの2時間になります（初日は13:00-17:30の予定です）。
そして、授業内容はレベルによって違います。上記でも述べた通り、入学前のテストでレベルが決まります。レベルは１から６まであるのですが、今回の参加者には主にレベル３か４のクラスから始める予定ですが、レベル５のクラスになると、文法の学習は基本しません。文法、単語はある程度のレベルまでしっかり理解できている前提でスタートします。通常5週間のところを2週間10日間なので、特別プログラムと言うことになります。詳細は参加者の状況を見て年内に発表いたします。

Q1: What kind of place is Griffith University?
A: Griffith University was established in 1971 and is a public university with five campuses in Brisbane and Gold Coast, Queensland. In the 50 years since it was established, the university has developed a wide range of research fields and produced many graduates. In addition to faculties such as business, law, literature, education, engineering and architecture, Griffith University also has a number of departments, including medicine, aviation, design and art. Griffith University has a track record of ‘ranking in the top 2% of universities worldwide’ and is highly regarded overseas, with a student population of over 50,000.
Because of its high profile, it attracts many international students from over 50 countries, accounting for 10% of all students at Griffith University.
Q2: Could you tell us about GELI?
A: When studying abroad, choosing a language school is very important. In Australia, there are various study abroad destinations this summer, including Perth, Sydney and Melbourne, but this time, the language school attached to Griffith University (GELI) is held at three locations: the Nathan Campus and Mount Gravatt Campus in Brisbane, and the Gold Coast Campus on the Gold Coast.
We will explain the appeal of each campus in Brisbane. It will be decided in January which campus will be used for this programme.
Nathan Campus
Located about 15 minutes by car from the centre of Brisbane, you can encounter various animals such as koalas while surrounded by nature.
Mount Gravatt Campus
It also has a panoramic view of the city of Brisbane. It is located about 5 minutes by car or shuttle bus from the main campus.
Q3: What kind of lessons are there?
A: Lessons are held from 8:15 to 10:15 for two hours from Monday to Friday, and then there is a 30-minute break, followed by lessons from 10:45 to 12:45 for two hours (on the first day, lessons will be held from 13:00 to 17:30).
And the content of the lessons will differ depending on the level. As mentioned above, the level will be decided by the test taken before entering the school. There are six levels, but for this time's participants, we plan to start mainly with Level 3 or 4 classes, but in Level 5 classes, we will not study grammar in detail. We will start with the assumption that the grammar and vocabulary have been understood to a certain level. As it is 10 days over 2 weeks, rather than the usual 5 weeks, it is a special programme. Further details will be announced by the end of the year, depending on the participants' circumstances.
